Jess discovered Yoga in 2015 and Hotpod yoga in 2017. She completed her teacher training in September 2018 and has been teaching ever since. Jess loves the flow, tunes and headspace of HPY, enjoys teaching an active class and welcomes all on the mat.
Will has always been into fitness but was drawn to yoga initially to get greater flexibility and mobility, he got hooked as the he started to feel the physical and mental benefits across all areas of his life. Will’s classes are strong but playful and encourage a light-hearted approach.
Originally from Newcastle where Lou is from a dance and gymnastics background, however fell in love with yoga a few years ago. As a psychology masters student she is very passionate about the mental health benefits of yoga. Her lighthearted approach combined with her love for the practice, ensures a fun and dynamic class for all abilities.
Victoria found yoga when undergoing a big career change as well as suffering from chronic back pain. Finding regular practice kept her more grounded, healthier and happier making her want to share it with the world.
Kate’s mum first got her into yoga in her 20s, then two children later she went to a class and everything just clicked, she took her teacher training in 2018. Kate loves that yoga can be strong and energising when you need it and grounding and nurturing when it’s right for you.
Sharnelle discovered yoga whilst teaching windsurfing in Greece. With a dance and sport background she loved the fitness aspects of yoga but it wasn’t until travelling in Bali that she really discovered the benefits. Sharnelle quickly learnt that yoga can build strength and keep you fit as well as being relaxing and great for your head space.
Helen has been doing yoga many years to help with her road cycling and other sports. She has a keen interest in anatomy and loves teaching yoga for sports. Her classes give space to work on the ever changing world and it’s constant demands on both the mind and body.
Kully started yoga in 2015 after many years of being unable to train due to knee and shoulder injuries. She quickly got the bug for hot yoga and now inspires others to achieve their goals, whether it is to touch your toes or touch your soul.
Anna first discovered yoga in 2001 (as advised by her doctor) at a point at which for three months she could hardly get out of bed. Anna enjoys bringing a powerful and playful flow into her classes and welcomes all on the mat.
After playing sport to a high level for a number of years Lee was introduced to Hotpod yoga to help with his flexibility. Not only did he have a new found passion but he also managed to lose three stone along the way. Lee believes yoga can create space in the body and mind, letting you participate in life fully with enjoyment and purpose.
Oli has a background in running marathons which naturally led him on to finding the benefits of yoga. A qualified Personal Trainer and Crossfit trainer, he has a keen interest in biomechanics and functional fitness.
His classes are energising and draw on the form of a focused and clear anatomical vinyasa flow.
Gemma first tried hotpod in 2016 and has been a regular in the pod ever since. She loves the combination of being physically challenged but in a way that also calms the mind. Gemma’s classes are strong and fun so that each class provides the right amount of challenge and leaves you feeling refreshed and energised.

Gemma Louella has always been active and into sports, but once trying yoga it just stuck. That moment when she could calm her busy mind and become present, it evolved into more then just physical exercise. Her teaching style is motivational, dynamic, with clear instruction and a down to earth attitude.
Having started yoga as an teenager, Jess wants nothing more than to give others the opportunity to feel the light, space and benfits from a strong yoga practice. Her classes are all about the end relax, but you’re going to have fun working hard to enjoy it!
George first found yoga whilst travelling to Sri Lanka 2011. She experimented with a variety of styles before finding the perfect practice that focused on strength and flexibility. George likes to challenge with dynamic flows, delivered with the soothing manner of her compassionate and peaceful nature.
Sally’s yoga practise has been inspired from her Balinese adventures. Discovering the endless benefits that yoga brought, her classes are dynamic, strengthening and always make time for relaxation.
Jodi first discovered hot yoga in 2011 in Los Angeles and was hooked: how it worked her body and how amazing it made her feel. Strong yet calm, her classes bring together key elements with a down to earth feel.
Lou discovered yoga when she injured her lower back and was not able to pursue her usual punishing triathlon/cycling training regime. After a few classes she was hooked and realised very quickly that yoga was exactly what her body and mind needed. Lou loves strong, sweaty, dynamic classes with any opportunity to go upside down.
Nicole discovered yoga as a teenager, mainly to stretch for her dance competitions. She has always been into sports and fitness so she loves the energy that hot yoga brings. Her classes are dynamic but grounding, and she is a keen advocate of the mental and physical benefits that yoga can bring.
Fi first discovered Hot yoga whilst travelling Australia in 2010, from an initial interest in it as a just a workout, it completely changed her outlook & attitude. Her classes bring a modern take on a traditional practise, creating an enjoyable and welcoming space with a focus on core, balance and posture.
Gemma’s first experience of a hot yoga class was Bikram in London in 2008 and she was hooked. She enjoys the heat, the sweat and that great feeling after a class. Gemma is a big believer that yoga is for every one and every body type, this inclusivity shines through her classes.
Growing up in Hong Kong with years of training in dancing, Vix has always had a love of personal challenges that combine mental focus and body movement,. Then she discovered hot yoga and has been hooked ever since. Her classes are dynamic and combine her sense of fun and her strength.
Although Sarah had dipped in and out of yoga for years, it became a fundamental part of her life when she started practising Bikram and particularly loved the heat and the sweat! Yoga continues to teach her how to connect to her body and mind, and her classes draw on her strength and sense of calm.
After years of competitive team sports and teaching pole fitness, Vicki attended a yoga class with the intention of increasing her flexibility, and the rest is history. Jude discovered yoga when a comical attempt at snowboarding led to a bad back and the need to seek out some back and core strengthening moves. Whilst she loved the strength that came from regular physical practice, it was the restorative calm that got her really hooked. The no-nonsense accessibility of the pod really appeals to her down-to-earth approach, which is reflected in her fun and inclusive classes.

Her classes are strong and dynamic with a clear focus on anatomy, movement and helping to understand your body in the context of the shapes we create.

Chrissie’s first experience of yoga was in London where she fell in love with an Ashtanga inspired dynamic flow. She enjoyed how it made her feel physically but also noticed the changed in her mental mood finding herself calmer and more at ease. Chrissie has taught all over the world training new teachers and running retreats.
